Most roasters treat decaf as an afterthought — whatever lot is cheapest, decaffeinated however is cheapest. We do the opposite. Our single decaf is the same Finca La Laja coffee we sell at full caffeine, from the same farm in Tlaltetela, Veracruz.

The caffeine is removed by the Mountain Water Process, using pure water from Mexico’s Pico de Orizaba glacier. No chemical solvents at any stage. Because only the caffeine is targeted, the coffee keeps the sweet cocoa, roasted nut and citrus character of the original.

That is why this decaf tastes like something. If you drink decaf in the evening, you are not being handed the leftovers.
